Site Engineer
We are seeking three motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by providing technical oversight, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight
Interpret technical designs, drawings, and specifications to provide accurate technical advice.
Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings to ensure alignment with project goals. - Quality and Safety Assurance
Ensure site operations comply with the Project Quality Plan, including quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety standards.
Participate in regular site inspections with the QAQC team to monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Undergo basic safety training and collaborate with the Safety team to implement proactive safety measures.
Maintain detailed inspection records for works, materials, and completed projects. - Project Coordination
Work closely with the Project Manager to communicate project updates and address site-related matters.
Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve site and quality issues effectively.
Monitor and report on variations, claims, and cost impacts, providing timely feedback to the Project Manager. - Reporting and Documentation
Prepare detailed site reports and present updates to stakeholders.
Ensure all contractual requirements are understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. - Continuous Improvement
Suggest proactive measures to address quality, environmental, and safety concerns.
Learn and adopt best practices in construction management and site engineering.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. - Experience:
3-5 years of experience in building and construction projects.
Familiarity with construction quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements. - Skills and Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret designs and drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods.
Comfortable working on-site in various weather conditions.
