Site Engineer

Description & Requirements

-This position reports to the Construction Manager / Project Manager

- Plan daily and weekly work for each section and liaise with site foremen, supervisors and workers on the work tasks and construction methods to be used

- Monitor progress of work, quality of workmanship in compliance with site and project requirements and quality records

- Check drawings against transmittal for discrepancies, built-ability information, revisions and coordination issues

- Maintain structural drawings, part prints and shop drawings to ensure they are in order with the register

- Implement project method statements and inspection and test plans

- Monitor site progress and initiate setting out verification and update CM and PM on all issues.

- Inspect site progress works to ensure the quality and accuracy of the site works

- Maintain records as per inspection and test plan and contract documents

- Check quality and quantity of subcontract works done Experience / Skill Required

. Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience

. Familiar with design & visualizations software such as AutoCAD / Civil

3D or similar

. Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control,

contract administration, scheduling, safety regulations would be an added advantage

. Able to work at East region
