Job Description & Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations
- Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements for sewer works
- Carryout site setting out, including alignment, levels, and gradients for pipelines and manholes
- Supervise construction activities such as excavation, pipe laying, jointing, manhole construction, and backfilling
- Ensure all works are performed in compliance with safety regulations, particularly for deep excavations and confined space operations
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and relevant authorities on site activities
- Monitor project progress and report on daily activities, delays, and issues to management
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards
- Arrange and oversee testing and commissioning activities (e.g., leakage tests, CCTV inspections)
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants on project progress
- Ensure all testing, monitoring, and inspections comply with project and contractual requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum1-3 years of relevant site experience
- Experience in site supervision, with specific experience in sewer works.
- 6 days work week
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple parties.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving abilities
