Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction and renovation projects, ensuring quality execution, timely delivery, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction sites and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and quality completion
- Oversee civil works including centring, flooring, tiling, and finishing to meet project specifications
- Manage installation and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and security systems on site
- Coordinate false ceiling, painting, partition, aluminium, and carpentry works to align with project plans
- Supervise HVAC system installations including Split AC and centralised duct systems for operational efficiency
- Manage LAN cabling and grill works ensuring compliance with technical standards
- Collaborate with contractors and labourers to maintain smooth workflow and resolve on-site issues
- Prepare weekly progress and labour reports to track project status and resource utilization
- Conduct material quality inspections and manage stock levels to ensure availability and compliance
- Handle bill preparation, take measurements, and perform invoicing quality checks for accurate financial documentation
- Manage project handover processes to senior engineers ensuring all deliverables meet requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) or Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Minimum 3-5 years of site engineering experience (Singapore experience preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drawings, layout plans, and construction detailing
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience preparing reports, maintaining material stock data, and performing basic data analysis
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Drafter functions
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multi-trade contractors
