Site Engineer

Job Description

• Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in managing and supervising daily site operations.

• Coordinate and monitor site progress, ensuring works are completed according to project schedules, quality standards and contract requirements.

• Supervise site activities and coordinate with subcontractors, RE, RTO and project teams.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.

• Coordinate the submission and approval of shop drawings, material samples and other technical documents.

• Review construction drawings, method statements and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Monitor manpower, resources and construction progress to meet project targets.

• Attend site meetings, conduct regular site inspections and prepare project progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a main contractor in the construction industry.

• Experience in condominium or commercial building construction will be an advantage.

• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines under pressure.
