Job Summary
Join us as a Project Engineer to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Singapore, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing site works to meet project timelines and standards
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery
- Prepare detailed method statements, technical submissions, work schedules, and progress reports to support project execution
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications
- Monitor work progress and implement quality control measures to meet project requirements
- Attend site meetings, inspections, and technical coordination meetings to resolve issues and align stakeholders
- Collaborate with surveyors, suppliers, and internal construction teams to ensure resource availability and workflow continuity
- Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, materials, and obtain necessary authority clearances to avoid project delays
- Assist in managing project documentation, claims, variation works, and progress reporting to maintain accurate records
- Support daily site operations by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and authority requirements
- Experience in drainage, roadworks, earth retaining systems (ERSS), utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate site execution effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software
- Good communication and coordination skills to engage diverse project stakeholders
- Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant construction or infrastructure project experience preferred
- Fresh graduates with a strong learning attitude are welcome to apply
