Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards. Lead teams, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders to deliver infrastructure projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to achieve project milestones on schedule
- Enforce adherence to project designs, specifications, and safety guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards
- Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve delays or issues to keep the project on track
- Perform regular inspections to verify quality and regulatory compliance of construction work
- Manage materials, equipment, and labour resources to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
- Prepare detailed progress reports and project documentation to support project tracking and communication
- Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues
- Coordinate drawing updates with clients and main contractors based on meeting outcomes and project requirements
- Draft engineering and shop drawings using AutoCAD and related tools to support construction and fabrication processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD for drafting engineering and shop drawings
- Skilled in construction management software and MS Office for project coordination and reporting
- Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to lead teams and resolve project challenges
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic construction environments
- Willingness to work on-site in various weather and site conditions
