Site Engineer (A&A Works)

Job Description

. Coordinate and oversee A&A works at various sites.

. Inspect construction sites to ensure quality control throughout all project phases.

. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

. Assist the Project / Construction Manager in preparing and updating work schedules.

. Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

. Supervise and facilitate material, equipment, and manpower arrangements.

. Track usage of materials, tools, and labor to ensure the project stays within budget.

. Attend site meetings and assist in the project close-out and documentation process.

. Ensure all works comply with project specifications and quality standards.

. Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

. Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

. At least 1 - 3 years of experience in A&A or related construction projects.

. Familiar with Singapore building regulations, especially for A&A works.

. Self-driven, with a positive and proactive attitude.

. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential

. Must be able to interpret structural drawings and prepare accurate rebar schedules for site execution and procurement.

. 2D/3D drawing proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) - a strong advantage

. Able to develop or modify shop drawings based on design drawings, site conditions, and coordination requirements

. Good interpersonal and time management skills.

. AutoCad and BIM knowledge will be an advantage

. Team player with leadership qualities and independent work ability

. Skilled in extracting accurate quantities of materials (concrete, steel, formwork, finishes, etc.) from architectural and structural drawings.

. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

. Ability to prepare material approval forms based on project drawings and obtain client approval efficiently
