About the Role

The Air Import Officer is responsible to execute day to day Air Import duties as specified by the Assistant Manager, Air Import. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Import Operations

• Manage daily import operations and documentation
• Monitor assigned customer&aposs inbound shipments closely
• Coordinate with team members, vendors and customers to ensure smooth transaction for all import shipments
• Complying on shipment event/milestone update in CW1
• Receive and process nomination and local customer booking and provide flight details
• Arrange collection/Delivery with transporter
• Declare import permit when necessary

Customer Service

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively
• Communicate with origin network
• Sending pre-alert to customer
• Process invoices and generate DO

Adhoc

• Any adhoc duties assigned by the Senior Supervisor/Assistant Manager, Air Import

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in the Air Import Operation
• Minimum GCE O level education
• Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
• Full understanding of all freight and logistics product solutions
• Proficient in MS Office and Tradenet
• Meticulous and accurate with a positive attitude and able to multi-task
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
