SHIPPING TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE

Job Summary:
Pacship Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and technically competent Shipping Technical Executive to support the technical management of our fleet. Based in Raffles Place, the role involves overseeing vessel maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

. Monitor the technical performance and condition of assigned vessels.

. Plan and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking schedules.

. Liaise with vessel crew, shipyards, suppliers, and contractors on technical matters.

. Ensure vessels comply with relevant maritime regulations, classification requirements, and company policies.

. Review technical reports, including machinery performance and fuel consumption.

. Assist in budget preparation and cost control for technical operations.

. Manage procurement of spare parts and technical stores.

. Conduct vessel inspections, audits, and follow up on corrective actions.

. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for vessel-related issues.

Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.

. 1-3years of relevant experience in shipping, ship management, or maritime technical roles preferred.

. Knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance practices, and maritime regulations.

. Familiarity with ISM/ISPS standards and classification society requirements is an advantage.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

. Willingness to travel onboard vessels when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

. Prior sailing experience as a Marine Engineer will be an added advantage.

. Experience working in a ship management company or similar environment.
