Job Summary
Coordinate vessel operations and liaise with relevant parties to ensure timely port calls, crew changes, and compliance with local maritime authorities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bunkering, ship spares and provisions, CTM, and crew change operations with relevant parties to ensure smooth vessel servicing
- Communicate with Masters, Principals, and local authorities (MPA, ICA, PSA) to monitor port call progress and provide timely operational updates
- Prepare and submit all necessary applications to MPA, ICA, and PSA for vessel arrivals, departures, and crew change formalities to ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor vessel schedules and deliver regular updates to all concerned parties to support operational planning
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support maritime operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of MPA, ICA, and PSA procedures and customs regulations to manage vessel clearance efficiently
- Communicate effectively in English ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage for liaising with China customers
- Apply strong organizational and time management skills to multitask and prioritize operational activities effectively
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals
- Possess 1-2 years of experience in a similar operations role, preferably within the ship agency industry
- Be available to commence work immediately
