Shipping operation assistant

Main responsibilities and tasks:

1. Responsible for dry bulk shipping operations, including commercial settlement and related tasks.

2. Communicate with shipping companies, cargo owners, agents, and ports to ensure smooth execution of shipping operations.

3. Prepare and review shipping-related documents, such as bills of lading and contracts.

4. Monitor vessel movements and coordinate solutions for operational issues.

5. Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

6. Collaborate with other departments and provide necessary business support.

Requirements:

1. Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese and/or Japanese in order to communicate with counterpart companies, group companies and the Headquarter in Singapore, Shanghai and/or Tokyo.

2. Bachelor's degree or higher in shipping, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred.

3. Familiar with dry bulk shipping operations 2-3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

4. Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.

5. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

6. Familiarity with shipping laws and regulations experience with IMOS software is a plus.
