Shipping Logistics Operation Assistant/Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our marine logistics team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in import/export operations, vessel scheduling, and Cargowise system management. Experience with MES (Major Export Scheme) and Inward Declaration (ID) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor daily vessel berthing schedules and delivery arrangements.

Handle import and export documentation and ensure smooth cargo movement.

Communicate effectively with customers, shipping agents, and internal operation teams.

Update and maintain records in Cargowise system accurately.

Ensure compliance with MES procedures and Inward Declaration requirements.

Support daily logistics operations and resolve any operational issues promptly.

Prepare reports and assist in improving operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in marine logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.

Proficient in Cargowise software (required).

Knowledge of MES and Inward Declaration (ID) handling.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with strong attention to detail.
