Job Summary:
Responsible for managing customer-facing logistics operations and coordinating export shipments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. This role requires strong operational knowledge, the ability to communicate effectively with customers and forwarders, and the capability to manage shipment documentation and system transactions in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer & System Operations
- Perform PGI (Post Goods Issue) transactions in customer systems accurately and within required timelines.
- Process and monitor export orders to ensure compliance with customer SLA and operational procedures.
- Respond to customer email enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates.
Export & Shipment Coordination
- Arrange and coordinate overseas shipment bookings with freight forwarders and transport partners.
- Manage defective return shipments, including documentation, booking arrangements, and shipment tracking.
- Prepare and verify export documentation to ensure compliance with shipping and regulatory requirements.
- Track shipment status and proactively update customers on delivery progress.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise closely with customers, freight forwarders, and internal warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Resolve shipment issues, delays, or documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement of export and customer service processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in export or international shipment coordination.
- Experience working with customer systems (PGI transactions or order processing).
- Familiar with freight forwarding processes, export documentation, and shipment booking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle customer-facing responsibilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple tasks.
