Job Scope / Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill, permits, certificates, etc.)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters and warehouse for shipment arrangements
- Arrange import & export bookings and monitor shipment schedules
- Ensure all cargo documentation is accurate and submitted on time
- Track shipment status and update customers and internal departments regularly
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, shipping agents and carriers on delivery requirements
- Handle customs permit declaration and ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Handle Letter of Credit (L/C) documentation - must have basic knowledge of L/C terms and requirements
- Liaise with banks on shipping documents submission, discrepancies and other trade finance matters
- Assist in resolving shipment delays, documentation discrepancies or cargo issues
- Maintain proper filing and record of shipping and banking documents
- Support inventory coordination and general logistics administrative duties
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management
✅ Requirement:
- Basic knowledge of import /export procedures
- Familiar with shipping documents and logistics workflow
- Able to work independently and communicate well
- Proficient in MS Office / email communication
- Experience in logistics or freight industry preferred
- Pass Customs permit Declaration test preferably
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Bilingual (Chinese) will be advantage
- Can work under pressure
