About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and confident sales engineers with experience selling in Singapore. The role will report to our Director of Sales, Domestic, with responsibilities including revenue generation of assigned portfolios. The attributes we are looking for include excellent communication skills, self-motivation and can contribute towards growth in prospecting, following up on leads supporting clients and the overall sales organization in selling the full suite of bearings products across industries and managing the B2B sales pipeline to meet the annual sales quota specifically in the Singapore market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities and develop new accounts
- Drive sales, monitor, track, and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met
- Maintain and prepare timely sales pipeline information in CRM and related reports
- Achieve monthly sales targets, objectives and track sales performance and metrics
- Preparation of proposals, submission of quotations and tenders
- Ensure customer orders are processed accordingly
- Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure continuous growth
- Expand market share with existing and new customers
- Enhancing the value-added selling approach
- Provide quality after-sales service to customers
- Experience in selling electronics/mechanical components
We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in the industrial or manufacturing sectors, preferably in a technical sales role
- Strong technical understanding and ability to provide expert advice on a wide range of industrial products and solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients at all levels
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently, manage a portfolio of clients, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Possess a Class 3 driving license
The Successful Applicant:
- Preferably with a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with industrial experience and equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Possess a Class 3 driving license
