Shipbroker(CPP broker)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, operators, and trading houses.
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable shipping solutions.
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, vessel availability, and commodities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping routes, market conditions, and competitor activity.
• Identify and match cargoes with suitable vessels or vice versa.
• Negotiate charter parties or MoAs on behalf of clients.
• Handle post-fixture or post-sale follow-up to ensure successful execution of the deal.
• Liaise with operations, legal teams, and other departments to facilitate smooth transaction execution.
• Prepare daily market reports and fixture recaps as required.
• Proactively pursue new clients and markets.
• Attend industry events and conferences to enhance company visibility and network.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Economics, or related field preferred with Minimum 2–5 years of experience in shipbroking (tanker, or S&P).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Established network in the shipping industry is a plus.
