Job Description
- Regularly maintain and inspect the electrical systems and components of vessels.
- Travel to vessels to perform on-site repairs and maintenance as necessary
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on vessels
- Install new electrical systems and components on vessels
- Update and retrofit existing electrical systems as required
- Work with other departments to ensure installations are completed on time and within budget
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical problems
- Utilize various testing equipment and tools to ensure accurate assessments
- Provide technical support and advice to vessel crew and other departments as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing electrical work
- Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and standards
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Perform routine housekeeping of worksite to ensure the workshop is kept safe, neat and clean for work
Job Requirement
- At least 3-5 years of experience as Electrical Engineering for oil tankers.
- Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
The salary will commensurate with relevant experience.
