Job Description

  • Cutting, bending, and forming metal using machinery (e.g., brakes, lasers, shears) and hand tools.
  • Welding, soldering, bolting, riveting, or using metal driver clips to fasten parts.
  • Installing HVAC ductwork, metal roofs, siding, gutters, and cabinets, often at construction sites.
  • Checking finished products for quality and conformity to codes, polishing, and grinding seams for a smooth finish.
  • Repairing and maintaining existing metal components, including replacing HVAC components and repairing leaks.
  • Adhering strictly to safety protocols, including using protective gear to avoid cuts and burns.
