Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SharePoint Online tenant-to-tenant migrations using ShareGate.
• Assess source and target SharePoint environments to identify migration dependencies, technical challenges, and potential risks.
• Migrate SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, pages, metadata, and permissions while ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct pre-migration assessments and prepare detailed migration plans, schedules, and checklists.
• Configure and execute migration tasks using ShareGate, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
• Validate migrated content, permissions, and site functionality to ensure successful migration.
• Troubleshoot migration errors, resolve technical issues, and perform re-migrations wherever required.
• Monitor migration progress, track issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with business users, SharePoint administrators, and technical teams to minimize business disruption during migration.
• Prepare migration reports, technical documentation, and post-migration validation reports.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, governance standards, and SharePoint access controls.
• Support post-migration activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and handover to the support team.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Practical experience using ShareGate for SharePoint migration activities.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, pages, metadata, and permissions.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, access controls, and security policies.
• Experience in migration planning, execution, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
