Job Summary

Design and lead scalable, secure SharePoint Online and Server solutions. Drive migration, modernization, and integration initiatives with Microsoft 365 and Azure services to deliver high-performing business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server 2019/Subscription Edition solutions to meet business needs
• Lead SharePoint migration, upgrade, modernization, and transformation initiatives across on-premises and online environments to ensure seamless transitions
• Define solution architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and implementation approaches for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms
• Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using SPFx and modern SharePoint development frameworks to enhance user experience and functionality
• Integrate SharePoint solutions with Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps to extend capabilities and automation
• Design and optimize SharePoint Search, security, permissions, performance, and governance frameworks to maintain compliance and efficiency
• Develop automation and administration solutions using PowerShell, CSOM, REST APIs, and other Microsoft technologies to streamline operations
• Leverage Microsoft 365 and Power Platform capabilities to deliver modern business solutions and automate workflows for improved productivity
• Conduct technical assessments, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend architecture and technology solutions to mitigate issues
• Ensure all solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices for security, scalability, performance, governance, and maintainability
• Collaborate effectively with business teams, project managers, developers, infrastructure teams, and other technology stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals
• Support technical estimations, solution proposals, design documentation, and project planning to facilitate successful project delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in SharePoint architecture and solution design
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server 2019/Subscription Edition
• Proven experience in SharePoint migration, upgrades, and modernization across on-premises and Microsoft 365 environments
• Proficiency in PowerShell, CSOM, REST APIs, and SharePoint integration techniques
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise solution design
• Experience providing technical leadership for large-scale SharePoint programs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related discipline
• Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, or Power Platform
• Experience with SPFx / SharePoint Framework and modern SharePoint development
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
• Experience with SharePoint Search, security, governance, and performance optimization
