The Singapore Branch Operations team plays a critical role in supporting institutional products and ensuring smooth trade processing across global markets.
Your new role
As a Trade Support Associate, you will be part of the Singapore Trade Support team responsible for accurate trade capture, lifecycle event processing, and resolving trade exceptions. You will work closely with sales and trading desks, regional trade support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate trade operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Timely and accurate trade capture and checkout
- Monitoring and processing trade lifecycle events
- Reconciling and resolving trade processing exceptions
- Liaising with trading, sales, and relevant teams to resolve discrepancies
- Supporting regulatory reporting and compliance processes
- Collaborating with technology teams on system enhancements and new platforms
- Providing backup support for other functional teams within Asia Branch Operations
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree with 3-5 years of experience in an operations role
- Prior experience in a global investment bank; trade support experience in Commodities or Fixed Income OTC is an advantage
- Strong understanding of financial products and operational processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively across functions and regions
- Detail-oriented with strong risk awareness and commitment to high operational standards
- Experience dealing with sales/traders and clients
