6 months contract as an Equity Research Analyst/Associate with a top- tier established bank
Your new role
- Apply research and data analysis techniques to develop hypotheses, analyze study results and uncover findings
- Create and maintain earnings and valuation models leveraging skills in accounting, finance and economics.
- Update and publish high frequency data in a timely way
- Mine primary and secondary research data and collaborate with counterparts to enhance studies and publications
- Stay current with industry and macroeconomic trends impacting markets under coverage
- Assist in the design and preparation of analyst marketing strategy and materials
- Attend corporate calls and generate industry insights
- Present findings in a clear and concise way and collaborate with team members to weave insights and implications into analyst publications
What you&aposll need to succeed
- Strong academic background with Bachelor&aposs degree (Economics/Finance/Business/Quantitative)
- Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, etc.) is a plus
- 0-1 year of working experience, preferably in equity research, investment analysis, accounting.
- Experience utilizing Excel to build/maintain financial models, an advanced level of excel proficiency is expected and required
- Fluent English (reading and writing)
- Critical thinker with high level of intellectual curiosity
- High level of initiative and detail driven
- Strong problem solving skills in unstructured and stressful situations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
