Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality curtains, leather products, and upholstery items. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work with different types of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., Juki, Brother)
- Sew curtains, leather goods, and fabric materials according to specifications
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials before sewing
- Ensure neat finishing and high-quality workmanship
- Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments if needed
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow production schedules and meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sewing machine operator or tailor
- Ability to handle heavy fabrics and leather materials
- Knowledge of sewing techniques and pattern reading
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in curtain making or upholstery work
- Familiarity with industrial sewing equipment
