About our client

Our client is a prestigious international business group. This role sits within their Singapore team, and involves providing trade, middle and back-office support to an investment fund/trading platform. You will have the opportunity to work across their global offices.

What the job involves

Provide trade support to Head of Trading, ensuring smooth settlement of trades with brokers and custodians
Deliver accurate and timely portfolio management reporting for the Capital team, including quarterly financials and P&L reporting on positions
Manage daily cash, trade, and FX management, settlement and reconciliations. Own every transaction
Support the preparation of monthly accounts, financial statements, and assist with the coordination of audits
Handle tax compliance, filings, and management fee allocations across jurisdictions
Support KYC and onboarding of brokers, custodians, and other counterparties
Perform other finance and operational tasks, as required

Who we are looking for

Considerable years of experience in settlements, finance operations, or fund accounting within reputable global financial services firms based in Singapore
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Familiarity with both public markets and private markets
Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and solid understanding of settlement cycles
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial and P&L reporting, and tax regulations. Hands-on experience preparing management accounts, financial statements, and coordinating audits
Practical experience working with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators
