Provide operations and coordination support, including remittance, clearing, data entry
Handle administrative duties, proper documentation of local regulatory reporting
To participate in any ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned
Validate customer KYC and ensure compliance checks
Reporting & update performance figures, risk anormalies and incidences to management team
Process payment / collection instructions
Requires high speed handling over the repair of remittance transactions, abiding by strict cut-off times (e.g., by currency / customer requests), whilst maintaining accuracy & quality over output
Collaborate widely with internal stakeholders and ensure that their ITT/OTT payment related queries are timely addressed, and issues timely resolved
Engagement in Risk and Control initiatives and projects, not limited to control deep dives, pre-audit reviews, risk self-assessments, coordination of internal, external, and regulatory audits
Conduct root cause analysis with operational performance issues and build up the knowledge base
Monitor procedures and ensure compliance to regulatory and internal guidelines. Review existing SOP and timely update for new processes
Detect and escalate exceptions promptly and track them for closure
Stakeholder management for cross functional teams alignment
Requirements:
Degree with at least 5-8 years of Operations experience in banking/financial industry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel formulas, pivot table, charts
Able to work independently and excellent time management
Committed and excellent multi-tasking skills
Working knowledge of domestic payment systems including SWIFT / MEPS+
