As a Services Team leader - Warehouse & Yard Ops, you will lead, coordinate, or oversees warehouse & logistics operations across Singapore.
As an Services Team leader - Warehouse & Yard Ops, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the internal and 3rd party warehouses operate at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Developing warehouse operations procedures by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
- Knowledge of the disciplines of warehouse management and distribution
- Overseeing daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Reviewing and preparing workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing & enforcing standards & procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management.
- Have 5 years or more experience in warehousing / Distribution / Operations / Asset and/or Inventory management in oil & gas, oilfield services industry.
- Have working experience in both Manufacturing and Operations sites/environments
- Demonstrated front-line supervisor, 4+ years of experience managing and supervising personnel and operator
- Have Knowledge and experience with the usage of barcoding, radio frequency identification (RFID), Mobile scanners, QR codes, and other WH Digital hardware/software skills ( additional)
- Have proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies, ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities, ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
