As the Manager of Services Sales and Business Development at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in driving service business growth across the APAC region. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Service Sales & Business Development, you'll collaborate closely with sales, service operations, legal, commercial and product line teams to exceed service sales targets. Your responsibilities will include spearheading solutions-based sales, managing renewals, and developing account plans to identify new opportunities. You will engage with diverse customers, leveraging your expertise in market trends to present our service portfolio effectively. Job Location: Singapore, Malaysia or Hong Kong

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Identify and cultivate new service business opportunities within the APAC region to drive growth.
  • Lead service sales initiatives, collaborating with sales, operations, and product teams to meet service sales targets.
  • Manage and maximize renewals for warranty and maintenance programs to enhance revenue streams.
  • Develop and execute account plans to qualify and quantify opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Communicate Nokia's Services Portfolio and roadmap through engaging presentations and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to design service offerings tailored to customer needs.
  • Oversee team management, providing leadership and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor market trends and customer purchasing behavior to inform strategic service product development.
  • Extensive travel around the region

Key Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of sales and/or service management experience in Optical Telecommunications Networks
  • Strong understanding of Subsea, Long-haul, Metro and Regional Optical networks.
  • Strong knowledge of global service providers purchasing behavior
  • Proven experience in bid management and defense, including proposal submissions
  • Knowledge of networking architectures and services requirements
  • Knowledge of managing care contracts

It would be nice if you also had:

  • BS, MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Proven sales track record within a Telecommunications operator
  • Strong knowledge of they hyperscale and CSP community
  • Experience with general business aspects, including commercial contracts and pricing
  • Leadership experience through team management
