Job Description:

  • As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization and designing its processes and systems.
  • This includes assessing the business model and its integration with technology, evaluating the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution.
  • You will research, gather, and synthesize information to support these activities.
  • You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and be responsible for team decisions.
  • Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions will be essential, as will providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams.

Core Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Process Mapping & Design: Analyze existing business workflows and re-engineer them for optimization on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Solution Definition: Work with architects and developers to design effective, scalable solutions, bridging the gap between requirements and technical implementation.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain process documentation, user stories, and support materials conduct user training and workshops to drive platform adoption.
  • Platform Support & Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve existing ServiceNow functionality and manage enhancement requests (BAU).
  • Experience: Typically 4+ years as a BA, with at least 2 years in ServiceNow-specific projects.
  • Domain Knowledge: Expertise in ITIL framework and ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM).
  • Certifications: ITIL Certification, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), or Business Analyst certifications.
  • Skills: Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and proficiency in Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow Platform is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis Tools, Business Process Design, Requirements Analysis, and Business Model Strategy is suggested.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed documentation to support process improvements and technology integration.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions effectively.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience.
