Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization and designing its processes and systems. This includes assessing the business model and its integration with technology, evaluating the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution. You will research, gather, and synthesize information to support these activities.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and be responsible for team decisions. Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions will be essential, as will providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams.

Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow Platform is required.

Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis Tools, Business Process Design, Requirements Analysis, and Business Model Strategy is suggested.

Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.

Develop detailed documentation to support process improvements and technology integration. Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends and inform decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business solutions effectively. Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization and innovation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

o Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

o Process Mapping & Design: Analyze existing business workflows and re-engineer them for optimization on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring adherence to best practices.

o Solution Definition: Work with architects and developers to design effective, scalable solutions, bridging the gap between requirements and technical implementation.

o Documentation & Training: Maintain process documentation, user stories, and support materials conduct user training and workshops to drive platform adoption.

o Platform Support & Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve existing ServiceNow functionality and manage enhancement requests (BAU).

o Experience: 4+ years as a BA, with at least 2 years in ServiceNow-specific projects.

o Domain Knowledge: Expertise in ITIL framework and ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM).

o Certifications: ITIL Certification, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), or Business Analyst certifications.

o Skills: Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and proficiency in Agile methodologies
