Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
- Integrate Discovery and Service Mapping with CMDB to ensure accurate service and configuration data.
- Configure and customize patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Servers.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Service Mapping and Discovery performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align ITOM solutions with business and operational needs.
- Support escalation handling and ensure ITOM processes align with Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
Skills & Requirements
- 10+ years IT experience with 8+ years in ServiceNow and 5+ years in ITOM.
- Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Knowledge of CSDM, ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript/GlideScript), and integrations.
- Understanding of network protocols (HTTP, SNMP, SSH, WMI).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk) and Agile/DevOps environments.
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications required; ITOM certifications preferred.
