Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management, particularly in Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing ITAM lifecycle processes, integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms such as Nexthink, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Azure, and supporting asset compliance, optimization, and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support ServiceNow ITAM solutions with a strong focus on SAM and HAM modules.
- Configure and manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes:
- Procure
- Receive
- Deploy
- Maintain
- Retire
- Dispose
- Design, build, and maintain integrations with:
- Nexthink (end-user and device insights)
- Microsoft ecosystem (M365, SCCM, Intune)
- Microsoft Azure (subscriptions, VMs, cloud assets)
- Other discovery and inventory platforms as required
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow spokes.
- Support CMDB alignment, reconciliation, and data consistency with ITAM processes.
- Normalize, reconcile, and optimize asset, entitlement, and configuration data.
- Manage software licensing models, compliance monitoring, optimization, audits, and true-up activities.
- Configure workflows, automation, business rules, dashboards, reports, and governance controls.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, IT operations, finance, infrastructure, and security teams for operational support and process improvements.
- Support discovery, data normalization, and asset governance initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Ensure platform configurations and processes align with enterprise standards and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, SAM, and HAM modules.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Nexthink, Intune, SCCM, M365, and Azure.
- Good understanding of software licensing models and compliance processes.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow spokes.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Data Normalization processes.
- Experience with asset reconciliation, entitlement management, and optimization.
- Strong scripting and customization experience within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience developing workflows, automation, reporting, and dashboards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM/SAM.
- Experience in enterprise-scale ITAM transformation programs.
- Exposure to ITSM, SecOps, and cloud asset governance is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments preferred.
