ServiceNow Developer - Contract

Aboutthe Role

Our clientis looking for a skilled and certified ServiceNow Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that drive efficiency across IT Service Managementand Security Operations. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow applications.

This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who is equally comfortable scripting business rules and workflows as they are gathering requirements and contributing to architectural decisions.

KeyResponsibilities
- Design, configure, and customise ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM and SecOps (Vulnerability Response).

- Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to automate and streamline business processes.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, and business functions to gather technical requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms and applications using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration methods.

- Support platform upgrades, patches, and continuous enhancements to maintain stability and performance.

- Build and maintain ServiceNow dashboards, reports, and performance analytics to support operational visibility.

- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues in a timely and methodical manner.

- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge transfer sessions, and the development of best practice guidelines for the ServiceNow platform.

Preferred Cerfiications:

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR)

In addition, candidates must demonstrate:

- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

- Proven experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM or ServiceNow SecOps (Vulnerability Response) in a real-world environment.

- Experience designing and implementing scalable, robust architectures on low-code/no-code platforms within complex enterprise environments.

Other requirements:

- ServiceNow low-code/no-code platform certification (e.g., Citizen Developer credentials).

- Completion of ServiceNow IT Service Management Fundamentals training.

- Completion of ServiceNow Security Operations Fundamentals training.

- Familiarity with Agile or ITIL-aligned delivery methodologies.

- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive enterprise environments.
