Service Technician / Senior Service Technician / Assistant Engineer

Job Description

1. Field Service& Technical Support

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and commission water-cooled and air-cooled chiller systems.
• Respond promptly to service requests to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Performance Management

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller and HVAC systems.
• Conduct equipment inspections, performance testing, and preventive maintenance according to company standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

3. Project Coordination & Contractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Ensure work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Technical teams to resolve customer issues and support project execution.

4. Commissioning& Technical Support

• Assist in commissioning, start-up, testing, and system performance verification.
• Support technical problem-solving and optimization of equipment performance.
• Provide basic technical support and recommendations to customers
• Record service findings and update maintenance and service reports.
• Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and materials.

5. Documentation& Compliance

• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and site regulations during all field service activities.

6. Other Duties

• Perform additional responsibilities assigned

Job Requirements

1.Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Air‑Conditioning & Refrigeration, or equivalent.

2.Industry Experience & Technical Knowledge

• Minimum 2-5 years of technical experience in HVAC, chiller, ACMV, M&E, or building services industries.
• Good understanding of chilled water systems, HVAC equipment, and mechanical building services.
• Experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers is advantageous.
• Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a higher-level position based on their qualifications and technical competencies.
