Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations, disassembly, assembly, testing, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of heavy-duty vehicles. Execute assembling and disassembling tasks on various vehicle systems, such as engines, gearboxes, axles, and cabins. Perform retrofitting tasks using provided technical drawings and scope of work (SOW). Utilize resources like after-sales programs and electronic parts catalogs to source information on spare part numbers and workshop repairs. Employ special tools for efficient repairs and follow manufacturer work instructions using repair and service manuals. Diagnose electrical faults using provided diagnostic equipment and conduct technical evaluations to determine corrective solutions. Maintain workplace safety procedures and housekeeping standards while handling workshop equipment and personal tools. Undertake additional duties relevant to the position as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of NTC 3 certificate. At least 5 years of working experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the heavy-duty vehicle sector. Driving license (Class 3) is preferable. Proficient in MS Office applications and possess a working knowledge of equipment used in the field. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams experience with hand and power tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take ownership of assigned tasks.
