About the job
Field Technician (Medical & Advanced Manufacturing Equipment)
We're looking for a motivated
Technician to support the
maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced hardware systems used in
healthcare imaging and
additive manufacturing.
In this role, you'll work directly at client sites to ensure equipment uptime and support high-performance systems, including
medical-grade imaging displays,
disc publishing units, and
professional 3D printing solutions.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on IT, medical, and 3D hardware systems
- Conduct basic diagnostic checks and repair of hardware issues
- Support pre-sales technical activities, such as equipment setup and demonstrations
- Receive structured, hands-on training on all equipment and tools used
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and component-level troubleshooting
- Good communication skills in English; able to handle customer service scenarios professionally
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical, customer-facing role
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks in live operating environments
- Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
- Candidates must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Position is open to Singaporeans and PRs only, as we are unable to provide work pass sponsorship.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory)
- Experience with hardware servicing in IT, medical, or 3D printing fields
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules and equipment care best practices
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply full training will be provided.
