Service Technician - Marine Electronics Equipment

JOB SUMMARY

Carry out Production, Service, Repair, Installation, FAT, Field Construction, Plant Commissioning, Sea trials and Inspection of Customer Supplied Product. Ensure that jobs are carried out to meet acceptance criteria as per technical / installation manual.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Carry out Production, Service, Repair, Installation, FAT, Field Construction, Plant Commissioning, Sea trials, and Inspection of Customer Supplied Product.

- Ability to maintain good project documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements such as Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work Application requirements and procedures.

- Requisition Key equipment and materials.

- Liaise with customer on the installation requirements such as hot work, welding, carpentry work and running of cabling.

- Inform Managers of additional requirements from customer.

- Ensure that jobs are carried out to meet acceptance criteria as per technical / installation manual.

- Assist in preparing the design, drawing, and documents for Customer's technical requirements.

- Assist in developing a complete field support process covering all products.

- Identify and record quality problem related to product or service.

- Carry out responsibility of equipment owner in the handling and usage of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.

- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managers and Engineers

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Technical Skills in servicing, installing, and inspecting company products or related products

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- ITE or Diploma preferably in Electronics / Communication / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering with 2-3 years of working experiences.

Working hours:

Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm
