To understand and follow the latest company standards and procedures including the service KPIs.
To carry out indoor and outdoor service jobs such as commissioning / repair / troubleshooting / inspection and modifications works as required. This including local and overseas service requests.
To carry out after office-hours service support to customers according to the duty roster (also known as 24-hour service).To carry out investigations of customers complaints pertaining to product defects, failures or non-conformance.
Issuance of outdoor and/or indoor service reports for customers and/or other SEW Eurodrives.
Issuance of assessment report of all SEW products for warranty claims to SEW Germany, and other SEW Eurodrives.
To carry out warranty claim inspections and verification.
To carry out disassembling of cancelled units for return to stock.
To carry out maintenance of service tools, equipment, and the housekeeping of the service workshop areas.
To provide service and maintenance trainings to customer and to educate them about SEW product usage.
To supervise and oversee the installation of SEW products according to SEW operating instructions / recommended specification.
Maintain close working rapport with service coordinator and immediate superior on daily basis.
Any service related matters he will report to the immediate superior or service manager(s).
AUTHORITY
To supervise the ADs during the service works and to notify the SG office of any discrepancies occur.
To make recommendations or corrective actions on the assessment report based on the outcome of the diagnosis.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2 years experience in motor and gear motor repair.
