Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)
1) Provide the necessary service and technical support in resolving machines issues to Sys-Mac supplied customers.
2) Prepare and submit the Service Reports and other documentation to the Service Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)
1) Provide service and technical support in resolving machine issues to SysMac supplied customers, as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
- This include existing and new customers, as well as onging projects.
Must be able to standby during off-work periods and on weekends &
holidays calls, as stipulated on the service contacts and if demands
needed.
- Service and technical support can be rendered via on-call, remote or on-site to the customer plant/factory.
2) Provide on-call, remote or on-site technical support on customer's machine issues.
- Communicate and coordinate with customer on resolving technical issues in order to restore, repair or online back their machine.
- Must travel and provide onsite support, if the on-call or remote support was unsuccessful.
3) Prepare Service Reports upon resolving and completion of the
machine issues.
4) Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to customer on-site, as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
5) Deliver, installed, test and handover spare parts, repaired, and/or restored machines to customer.
6) Must have a high sense of urgency in providing service support to customers.
7) Others:
- Assist in machine assembly, debug and commisioning of machines at the Sys-Mac factory floor during off-service period as this will allow the service team to familiarize the machine for future servicing works.
Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)
1) Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
2) Minimum 3 years experience in Automation Machine Building and System Integration
3) Strong fundamentals in Electrical Circuits, Pneumatics and Motion Controls
4) Knowledge in Program Logic Controls, Robotics and PC Base motion control systems are an advantage.
5) High familiarization on Industrial Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
6) Independent and trustworthy, willing to learn and to be trained
7) Good customer relations and communication skills
8) Flexible and willingness to extend working hours base on work requirement and urgency
