Supervise daily service activities including repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting works
Plan and schedule service jobs, site visits, and technician assignments
Ensure all service jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards
Monitor job progress and provide technical support when required
Guide and support technicians in diagnosing faults and performing repairs on Heavy equipment (e.g. forklifts, generators, machinery) and Air compressors (diesel/electric)
Review service reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist in resolving complex technical issues
Provide timely updates on job status, delays, and solutions
Handle customer complaints and ensure proper follow-up and resolution
Ensure all service works comply with safety standards and procedures
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings where required
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE
Maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements
Ensure proper documentation of service reports, job sheets, and checklists
Monitor usage of parts and prevent wastage
Ensure timely submission of service reports and claims (e.g. warranty)
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or air compressor servicing
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Strong technical knowledge in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and compressors
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Leadership and team management abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
