Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supervise daily service activities including repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting works
  • Plan and schedule service jobs, site visits, and technician assignments
  • Ensure all service jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Monitor job progress and provide technical support when required
  • Guide and support technicians in diagnosing faults and performing repairs on Heavy equipment (e.g. forklifts, generators, machinery) and Air compressors (diesel/electric)
  • Review service reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in resolving complex technical issues
  • Provide timely updates on job status, delays, and solutions
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure proper follow-up and resolution
  • Ensure all service works comply with safety standards and procedures
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings where required
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation of service reports, job sheets, and checklists
  • Monitor usage of parts and prevent wastage
  • Ensure timely submission of service reports and claims (e.g. warranty)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or air compressor servicing
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and compressors
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Possess Class 3 driving licence (preferred)
  • Willing to travel to customer sites
  • Able to work overtime when required
