Job Summary

Lead and coordinate service activities for marine and offshore equipment, delivering technical and operational support to ensure efficient commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineering teams to drive corrective actions and support business growth through effective service management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead service activities including commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, warranty, and modification works to ensure operational excellence
  • Plan and manage manpower, tools, spare parts, and materials to optimize service job execution
  • Provide technical and operational support to field service engineers and site teams to resolve issues and enhance service delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret drawings, clarify technical details, and implement design changes for continuous improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of equipment issues
  • Support preparation of service quotations, track costs, and provide invoicing information to maintain financial accuracy
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure spare parts readiness and timely delivery to support uninterrupted service operations
  • Prepare and review detailed service documentation and reports to maintain compliance and transparency
  • Ensure all service activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), client, and regulatory requirements to uphold safety and quality standards
  • Address customer warranty claims and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and trust
  • Demonstrate flexibility by traveling overseas and supporting site work as required
  • Adapt to work beyond normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to support site operations and projects across different time zones

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic and mechanical systems to enhance troubleshooting and maintenance effectiveness
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to support technical decision-making
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration
  • Organized and responsible work approach with the ability to perform under pressure
