About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for building innovative solutions that optimize IT service management, IT operations management and IT asset management processes.
This is a hands-on development role requiring expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow modules, and strong problem-solving skills. You will collaborate closely with platform architects, IT stakeholders and business users to deliver scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- Configure and create workflows, forms, and automation rules within ServiceNow to streamline IT processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM Discovery, and IT Asset Management modules to improve infrastructure and asset management efficiency.
- Identify and fix non-functional and non-compliant outcomes, ensuring alignment with ITSM/ITOM standards and governance.
- Implement best practices for IT service management and ITOM/ITAM processes.
- Conduct unit and system testing to ensure defect-free delivery.
- Deploy developed applications into UAT and production environments.
- Support platform upgrades (annual update cycle) and ongoing implementations.
- Perform system health checks and platform performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with architects for coding standards, technical best practices and solution design.
- Provide additional support in line with role capacity when required.
Key Skills & Qualities
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and coding best practices.
- Deep knowledge of SOLID programming principles and object-oriented design.
- Familiarity with infrastructure protocols such as WMI Query, SNMP, SSH.
- Knowledge of modern software ecosystem and technical prerequisites (AJAX, asynchronous methods, queuing techniques).
- Hands-on experience with software architecture patterns (Circuit Breaker, CQRS, MVC, Controller-Responder).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
