Job Summary

Lead and manage all aspects of Chateau's restaurant operations, including sales, kitchen, wine collection, staff training, and customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall restaurant operations including sales tracking, inventory control, human resources, and financial oversight to achieve business goals
  • Oversee kitchen operations and conduct food training to maintain high culinary standards and consistency
  • Manage wine collection and support purchasing decisions to ensure a diverse and quality selection aligned with customer preferences
  • Develop and implement staff training programs and manage scheduling to optimize team performance and coverage
  • Control quality of customer service and personally handle VIP guest relations to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with marketing and event teams to plan and execute promotional activities that drive customer engagement
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of wine, with WSET certification preferred
  • Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
  • Understanding of the Singapore food and beverage market
  • Certification in Korean or Western cuisine, or at least 5 years of kitchen work experience

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities applied in fast-paced hospitality environments

Working Conditions
