Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead service operations for mechanical and industrial equipment, ensuring technical excellence, team leadership, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service team to deliver efficient and effective equipment servicing and repairs
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to resolve service challenges promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high service quality across all operations
• Manage customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and prepare detailed service reports to enhance satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and technical teams to align service delivery with business goals
• Identify and implement improvements in service processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Oversee spare parts inventory management and maintain accurate service documentation for operational transparency

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment servicing or maintenance
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a service team
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems relevant to industrial equipment
• Customer-focused approach with capability to manage field operations safely and efficiently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance practices
• Experience in service reporting, planning, and scheduling within industrial equipment maintenance
