We are seeking a
Service Logistics Coordinator with experience in
power plants, oil & gas, or heavy engineering environments to support service operations and field activities. This role involves coordinating service schedules, supporting engineers, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth execution of maintenance and service projects. Candidates with an
engineering background or experience in engineering companies will have a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service, maintenance, inspection, and repair activities for field engineers
- Act as a key point of contact between customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare service-related documentation such as work orders, service reports, quotations, and invoices
- Track service progress and ensure timely completion of jobs according to agreed schedules
- Support engineers with logistics, manpower coordination, tools, and spare parts planning
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for service-related requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards at customer sites
- Attend site visits when required (e.g. Jurong Island or Tuas approximately once a year)
- Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems
- Support continuous improvement of service processes and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse operations, material control, or maintenance planning for heavy machinery.
- Experience in power generation, oil & gas, heavy machinery, maintenance services, or process plant environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, including coordination with customers and contractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willing to work at power plant sites (e.g. Jurong Island) during outage periods.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
