Responsibilities
- Coordinate material control activities for planned and unplanned maintenance, including customs clearance and logistics.
- Expedite delivery of materials and ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management at customer warehouses.
- Track serialized parts and consumables, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare reports on stock movement.
- Arrange shipping and logistics for parts sent overseas for inspection and repair.
- Plan and support dispatch of technical advisors, including visa/work pass applications, accommodation, transport, and site access.
- Provide administrative and sales support, including document control, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment tracking.
- Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings, track follow-up actions, and maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Coordinate reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of performance and forecast reports.
- Monitor customer needs and support marketing initiatives related to after-sales services.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, material control, or maintenance planning for heavy machinery.
- Relevant experience in power or oil & gas industry, or companies involved in heavy machinery manufacturing, maintenance services, or process plant operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, managing customer supply chain and contractor manpower at site.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work at remote power plant sites (e.g., Jurong Island) during outage periods.
- Practical knowledge in mechanical engineering and rotating equipment is an added advantage.
