Service Engineer

Brief Summary

• Deliver reliable field-based technical support through equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair. Help customers maintain equipment performance by diagnosing issues and implementing timely corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and repair laboratory, research and analytical equipment at customer sites. Provide technical advice and after-sales support to customers. Perform preventive maintenance, servicing and equipment calibration. Investigate technical faults and implement appropriate corrective solutions within agreed timelines. Coordinate with equipment principals on technical matters, spare parts and warranty claims. Develop preventive maintenance plans to support equipment reliability. Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of all service activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum five years of relevant experience in technical service, equipment maintenance or commissioning. Experience supporting process equipment or comparable technical systems is advantageous. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Self-motivated, results-oriented approach with sound business awareness. Valid Class 3 driving licence access to a personal vehicle is advantageous.
