Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

• 5-day work week
• Working location: HQ at Ang Mo Kio & Customer sites (hospitals/ polyclinics)

A leading provider of medical equipment and services in the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced candidate to join their team as a Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Technical Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with manufacturer standards.
• Service Planning and Execution: Coordinate tools, spare parts, and resources to complete scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks within the required timeframe.
• Technical Support and Recommendations: Provide timely technical advice, respond to customer enquiries, conduct user training, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Service Coordination: Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support service operations, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident investigations.
• Operational Support: Participate in standby duties and provide technical assistance for urgent or unscheduled operations outside normal working hours when required.
• Documentation and Quality Compliance: Maintain accurate service records, obtain customer acknowledgements where necessary, submit service reports promptly, and ensure all work meets technical specifications and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering or related faculty
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Good technical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic networking and SQL will be beneficial
