Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of industrial weighing, measurement and process solutions, and is looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to support customers across Singapore.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, onsite technical work and customer interaction, with opportunities to work on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform onsite installation, calibration and commissioning of industrial equipment and systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure reliable equipment performance and minimise downtime.
Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of industrial weighing and measurement solutions.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with internal engineering and technical support teams.
Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation and recommendations to improve system reliability.
Collaborate with Sales and Project teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Follow all relevant safety procedures, compliance requirements and industry standards when working onsite.
Keep up to date with new industrial technologies, products and technical developments through ongoing training and learning.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or related Engineering disciplines.
Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning or technical support is preferred.
Candidates with experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, weighing systems or industrial equipment will have an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working at customer sites and in industrial environments.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
