Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyse, diagnose and rectify faults on Jungheinrich material handling equipment (especially stackers, electric forklifts and reach trucks)
• Carry out electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repairs on equipment and sub-components
• Provide on-site preventative maintenance, modification, commissioning and parameter-setting services
• Co-operate closely with other Jungheinrich staff to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance working relationship with clients

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge, ideally with understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Possess at least Diploma in automotive/electrical/electronic/mechanical/mechatronic engineering (or similar) is desirable
• At least 2 years of working experience in a technical field with products such as material handling equipment, cars/trucks/buses, cranes, marine equipment, industrial vehicles etc.
• Experience in the material handling industry is an advantage
• Good computer skills
• Very good working attitude
• Keen and able to learn on one's own
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Willing to take on jobs after normal working hours
• Must possess a valid Class 3 driving license
